Cas Abao

Cas Abao is een van de mooiste stranden van Curaçao en ligt op slechts 4,4 kilometer van het appartement. Met wit poederzand, kristalhelder turkoois water en een rustige sfeer is dit de ideale plek om te ontspannen. Het strand biedt uitstekende faciliteiten zoals ligbedden, een strandbar, douches en snorkelverhuur. Dankzij het heldere water en het koraalrif vlak voor de kust is Cas Abao ook zeer geliefd bij snorkelaars en duikers. Perfect voor een ontspannen dag in de zon, dicht bij je verblijf!

Daaibooi

Daaibooi is a charming, quiet beach just 7.9 kilometers from the apartment. Located in a sheltered bay, this local favorite is perfect for those who love nature, tranquility and beautiful snorkeling. The beach is accessible free of charge and offers shade under palapas, a small snack hut and basic sanitary facilities. Thanks to the calm, clear water and nearby reef, Daaibooi is ideal for snorkelers and novice divers. A wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the real Curaçao.

Porto Marie

PortoMari is a beautiful private beach that you can reach within 8.9 km from the apartment. It is known for the wide white sandy beach, clear turquoise water and the unique 'double reef' perfect for snorkeling and diving.

What really makes this beach special? It is home to friendly roaming pigs, originally known as Willy and Woody, now joined by four new residents: Max, Lia, Wim and Meur. The pigs occasionally take a dip in the water and hang out relaxed in the shade or on the sand, looking for snacks.

Karakter

Karakter is an attractive beach restaurant on the west coast of Curaçao, just 9 kilometers from the apartment. The beach itself is quiet and small-scale, without loud music or crowds, ideal for those who want to enjoy the sun, sea and good food in peace. During the day you can relax on sunbeds by the water and swim in the clear, calm water. In the evening, Karakter turns into a romantic place for a sunset dinner, with culinary dishes and beautiful views over the Caribbean Sea.

Kleine Knip en Grote Knip

The beaches Kleine Knip (Playa Kenepa Chikitu) and Grote Knip (Playa Kenepa Grandi) are among the most beautiful places in Curaçao and are only 16 and 17 kilometers from the apartment.

Kleine Knip is an intimate, quiet bay with white sand and clear blue water, ideal for snorkeling or enjoying the sun in peace. The beach is free to enter and has several palapas and picnic tables – perfect for a relaxing day in nature.

Grote Knip is a wide, iconic bay and perhaps the most photographed beach in Curaçao. From the viewpoint above the bay you have a spectacular panorama, and below a long white sandy beach with clear turquoise water awaits. Here too you can go for free and there are some basic facilities such as shaded areas and a snack bar.

Together, Kleine and Grote Knip are a must-see during your stay: two Caribbean pearls, each with their own charm, a short distance from each other.
